[pct-l] Snow Levels in Oregon

The Mt Ashland snow surveys were conducted last week. At 6000-6500ft on the 
road to the ski resort, the two snow course levels were 122" and 126". At 
Siskiyou summit near where I-5 passes through, the snow was at 66". The two 
first levels were near 160% of normal, but Siskiyou summit was 350% of 
normal. The low elevations have much more snow than normal. This is the 
Chinese year of the rat, however along the PCT it may be the year of the 
'skeeter.
