Regarding headnets, I was very pleased with one I got from BackpackingLight.  See this link:

It's designed just for mosquitoes (not noseeums) and is a lot easier to see out of and restricts airflow a lot less than ordinary headnets.  I hike mostly in the Northwest so noseeums aren't much of an issue, so this net works great.

I'm not familiar with the OR net so I can't compare the two, but the BPL net beats the heck out of some generic headnet I got at REI several years ago.  It's a huge difference.
