Bill,
Thanks for gentle reminder. A few days ago I was pining for the trail life (it happens this time of year) and I went to their website. I see they still have yet to meet their goals to purchase the conservation easement in Oregon and their matching grant. I hiked through that threatened section of trail in Oregon just a couple of years ago. I remember that section well
I have never donated to the PCTA before, this will be my first time. I don't have much to give, so I must choose wisely. Pitching in to help protect the trail that has given me SO much is top priority.
Thanks,
Ryan

Just a note as I am writing my check. If there are others out there that
have been sitting on the last envelope from the PCTA, as I have been doing
- and intend to donate- try to make it in by the end of the year if you can
pull it off. It will help them out.
I rarely have much to part with. Personally I have overcome my resistance
and humility in checking the "other" box when my comfort level at that cycle
is lower than the "suggested".
I know many give by volunteering, or by other hiker services provided. All
efforts and kindness fill the cosmic hiker trust and it is all appreciated.
