I do not have first-hand info, but the LA Times yesterday had a  
lovely picture of snow in Lake Arrowhead and I believe it is probably  
snowing right now, or at least last night it was with more scheduled.  
There's even a little snow on the peaks in Santa Barbara which are by  
the ocean and only 4000 feet.
