I'll take anything that Laundry-Rod has to say about washing as gospel. I remember the only way I was able to identify my clean socks when I got them back from her (and I was SURE they could not be mine -- after all, they looked brand new, even after 3 weeks in the dust) was because I'd perma-marked my initials on them.
