[pct-l] Lucky is Definitely in Stehekin Right Now

I have great news.
 
Lucky came into Stehekin today (looking rough but not much worse for the wear) on the 1st shuttle bus this morning.  P.O.D. and I have spoken with him and he's spoken with the park service and the search and rescue effort has ended.  
 
My friend Lucky is alive.
 
I can't thank all of you enough for making calls on Lucky's behalf.  It's been a trying 24 hours for all of us here in Stehekin and in Skykomish.  I'm so glad this is over and that the outcome was good.  Thank you all again very very much.
 
I don't have a lot of details on what happened to him while he was out there and I am guessing those will be forthcoming in the next few days or so.  What I do know is that he left Stevens Pass on Sunday the 24th and showed up today (Sunday the 31st) so it took him 7 days total and he was planning to be here on Thursday.  He was completely out of food as you can imagine.  He took 2 wrong turns.  One down the North Fork Sauk River Trail which he figured out and came back to White Pass.  He took another wrong turn at Milk Creek and descended way way down the drainage and that cost him more than a day and he got pretty soaked.  
 
He is here in Stehekin now and he is safe and in good spirits.
