Julian, the 32 deg bag should be just fine. WM are excellent products,
and they do what they say.

What you would be well advised to do, is to discover the many tricks to
keeping warmer in a situation where your bag is not enough.

For example, rain gear may be very helpful. What you do is put it on in
the bag. Assuming a Gore-tex type, you will find that it operates as a
vapor barrier layer. It works particularly well inside out, because
although it has no effect on the Gore-tex (it doesn't know what side is
which), such jackets often have their outer layer somewhat water
repellant. You'll be a little wet in the morning, but it has the added
advantage of moisturing your skin (keeping skin from drying out can be a
real problem in the dry climate of higher elevations). This technique can
add 10 degrees, if you have tops and bottoms. Vinyl rainwear works even
better.

an internet search on the topic may be very helpful.

Have fun!
