Hiking fifty miles a day--even in Oregon--is not something I can do, or even want to do, but to each his/her own.... We met Showoff on the trail just before Crater Lake and since he took the time to stop and talk to us, I assume that he also occasionally takes the time to stop and smell the (wild) roses.
