[pct-l] Records and Trail Awareness

I'm not taking sides here, because I couldn't care less about records one 
way or the other.

It's a bit ironic that one of the most visible PCT personalities, Scott 
Williamson, ignores fire closures and doesn't carry a bear canister.

This must be one of those, "if you wanna make an omelet, ya gotta break a 
few eggs" deals. The (long, long list of) things we sweep under the rug for 
a little trail awareness!
