[pct-l] Fire near Apache Springs

An email we received from Patrick Beggan:

You might let the PCT-L know, or whoever, but Julian (who was at your
home when I was, a new zealander) just now got off the trail at apache
spring because of a fire on the trail. They saw smoke and light above
apache spring (on the PCT) and immediately bailed down mountain with
other hikers. That's all I know for now.
