True: According to the map at
http://www.sdmts.com/RouteFiles/routes/pdf/892.pdf, the closest the 892 bus
gets to Warner Springs is the junction of S2 and 79, which is about three
highway miles SW of Warner Springs. Alternatively, they could pick you up
where S22 crosses the PCT, about eight trail miles SE of Warner Springs.
With advance notice, they will do flag stops. And you're right: This route
runs only on Thursday.

They will go into Warner Springs, but you must contact SDMTS first. Their
brochure says "We may be able to go off-route for your pick up or drop off
location. Please call in advance (at least one day) to discuss your travel
plans and dates." 1-800-858-0291
