Yeah, it sucks.  Totally.

At this rate, 2008 could be the year without a summer.  At least for us 
hikers who enjoy those spectacular alpine meadows.  Unless we get an 
unusually warm May and June, the alpine meadows may not melt out till 
September, if at all.
