[pct-l] directions to ADZ from up north

Hi All,

I'm driving to ADZ from San Francisco so basically I'm driving south down 
I-5.  Yahoo Maps routes me I-5 thru the LA area and into the San Diego area 
before turning east on I805 and then I8 east. However that seems like I'll 
be driving thru a lot of heavy urban traffic. Looking at the map I'm 
considering alternate routes to the east of LA. Anyone have some 
recommendations for alternate route?
