I'm not down on thru-wallets. It's people who view thru-hikers as
thru-wallets that just irks me; people that would use thru-hikers to prop up
their businesses. (We LOVE thru-hikers! Buy some stuff, eh?) Yeah, I have a
problem with that.

And that would be a perfectly fine and noble position to hold except that a) you regularly smear some folks who (as far as I know) have *never taken a cent* from any thru-hiker and b) I can go from the front page of your PCT site to your online gear store (PeakGeek.com) with one click.

You actually toned down the cross-site links quite a bit since the last time I pointed it out, but they're still there. If you've ever had someone click through from PostHoler.com to PeakGeek.com and purchase something that you made a profit on, then you have *no right* to point fingers at anyone else. None. Zero.

And as I said the last time this came up, I have no problem with you using traffic to PeakGeek.com to pay for the time and hosting costs you spend on Postholer.com. It's an awesome site and you deserve to be reasonably compensated. Just don't pretend like you're 100% altruistic, then say nasty things about other people who *actually are*.

If I'm factually wrong about any of this, feel free to correct me.

Eric
