I'm not down on thru-wallets. It's people who view thru-hikers as 
thru-wallets that just irks me; people that would use thru-hikers to prop up 
their businesses. (We LOVE thru-hikers! Buy some stuff, eh?) Yeah, I have a 
problem with that.

A little awareness for the new thru-hiker is a good thing. Of course the 
carpet-baggers go into convulsions and lose all control of their body 
functions when I mention this.
