"And it was at that moment that a rolicking joy spread over the hiking
community. Hikers of all ages were seen dancing, singing, and praising the
evolution of the Trail Journal. Of course no one anticipated nor even
considered the national holiday that would follow. And that, my dear
friends, is how Video Day was first celebrated way back in 2008."

Due to overwhelming pressure by a hiker who will go unnamed (Bill B., aka,
pink gumby) you can now embed your YouTube video into your journal pages at
Postholer.Com.
Postholer is loaded with features, far more than any other blog or hiker
journal site. You can update by email, display entry's on our highly custom
google trail maps, download your journals, blah, blah, etc. It just has tons
of features!
Here's the thing....we want it to be the most awesome hiker site around. WE
NEED to hear your suggstions, your wish lists. Just tell us what you want! I
won't garuntee every suggestion will be implemented, but you can bet the
ranch it will be seriously considered.
Tell us about it in the journal support forum:

More than you want to know section:
The entire back end was recently re-written in an object oriented
fashion.....it is blazing fast. Development was all done over DIAL-UP (56K
modem) the slowest common denominator. We're making asthetic changes to the
front-end as we speak.
Who is 'we'? Postholer, aka, Stillroaming (stillwhining), aka K. Scott
Parks. This site is the work of one very focused person. A FREE site for the
community, by the community. My hiking knowledge originates from many folks
(and resources such as the PCT-L). They didn't charge a fee for their best
info, so why would I? This is my motivation.
