[pct-l] hitchiking

Much of this relies upon hitchiking. That is something I haven't  
done, being a woman and all that. I'm traveling alone, too. I hope  
I'll meet nice people on my hike so I don't have to hitchike alone,  
but I'm planning for the possibility that I spend the entire time  
alone. Any solo women hiker veterans willing to share information  
about hitchiking?
