[pct-l] Bear bagging or canister in OR?

I like using an Ursack in OR/WA as a good weight vs. convenience compromise,
partially for the infrequent chance of bear encounter, and partially as
rodent proofing.  Even if you throw very well, finding the right tree and
dealing with this in a way that's going to be comparative to an Ursack can
take more time than I care to spend at the end of the day.  

My plan is to sleep with my food until KM, then of course a bear can in the
Sierras, and then at Echo Lake I'll mail-swap the bear can for an Ursack.
