All,
I am seriously considering hiking the PCT in three weeks but I haven't even
begun preparing my resupply rations, acquired camping permits, or gathered
all my gear.  I now this may sound a bit ridiculous but the only logistical
problem I have other than what I have just mentioned is I have a wedding to
attend at the end of May.  I figured if I could get to Kennedy Meadows or
relatively close, that would be a good stopping point to take about a week
off and then return where I left off.  This would also give me an
opportunity to tighten up any loose ends regarding gear, resupply rations
etc.  If anyone has any advice or constructive criticism I would really
appreciate it.  I will be hiking solo which is another concern I have.
Please be candid with your responses because I have to commit to this ASAP.
If I do commit then I was planning to be in Campo for the kick-off.  Would
you recommend attending the kick-off/ I feel like it would be very
informative; providing a lot of valuable knowledge.
