I drove down to the monument today. Clean and clear. No signs of fire. Stopped by Lake Morena. Rangers said they hadn't been effected, Water and electric running fine. Just like everyone else in the area, though, the electric cut out a couple of times a couple of days ago. One SOBOer singed the Register 10/22/07 Monty
