[pct-l] Marmot Precip Jackets

unexpectedly --  and of course during a rainstorm. We also tried rinsing them well (to 
get rid  of any detergent residue), putting them in the dryer, and applying 
spray. No  dice. We have given up on them, too. I now do a test in the shower 
before  depending on any raingear.

I've heard of others having problems with the Precip.  To be fair,  I've had 
excellent dealings with Marmot.  Most of their products are  labeled "Marmot 
for Life"  If you get in touch, they'll most likely either,  send you a new 
jacket or put the purchase price towrds an upgrade.
