hey Kim take a look at the vasque velocity, i live in the desert and
have been useing them since last year, i think there great, they have
great traction, there super light weight and they dont let alot of
dust and dirt thru the mesh,ive beaten up my original pair pretty good
on the rocky trails we have in nevada and there still in great shape,
thats what ill be wearing for my 08 thru hike, see ya on the trail
