[pct-l] PACKWOOD GLACIER

We plan to hike about a 95 mile section of the PCT in Washington next year (from Hwy 23/road 8810 north to Hwy 410 by Mount Rainier National Park) in early September. I'm wondering if it's worth the added weight and pack space to carry crampons to assist in crossing Packwood Glacier in early September. If it makes any difference, we both wear hiking boots (not "trail shoes"), and use hiking poles. Thanks.
