I've climbed San Jac and taken the tram down. First step is getting others to ask about your trip and yogiing a ride from them. If that doesn't work when you get off the tram, have the tram ticket counter call you a taxi. I think it cost me about $20 from the tram to the desert art museum (where I had started my hike). AsABat
