hi katie

in my personal opinion, if your grandma insists that you take a gps, get 
her to buy you the cheapest, lightest weight gps you can find, because 
chances are you won't be using it very much, especially if this year 
turns out to be a low snow year. it'll be nice to have for your 
grandma's (and your) peace of mind, but you might find yourself bouncing 
it more often than not.
