Thank-you for the link.
I too was introduced to backpacking by his books. The
first one I read was, "The Man Who Walked Through
Time" I was mesmerized and transported. It opened up
my horizon. I then read, "A Thousand Mile Summer", and
"The Secret Worlds of Colin Fletcher". They were all
deeply influential on me.
A light in the backpacking community has passed on....
May he wander the forgotten lands in joy.
