[pct-l] Colin Fletcher passes

I would imagine that some of the folks on this list were introduced to
backpacking like I was by Colin Fletcher in the late 1960's. Until I read "A
Thousand Mile Summer" when I was in high school, I never even knew what
backpacking was. If this link to the Monterey Herald article doesn't work,
just go to their web site and look under "most viewed" for today. He is one
who definitely understood the value of solitude.
