[pct-l] Mosquitoes

Hi gang,
My wife and some hiking buddies including Robert Burrough (Paparazzi), 2006
thru-hiker  and Boy Scout Troop 500 just came today from a week in the
Sierra including Mt. Whitney while I, due to my shoulder surgery, stayed
home with my furry friend, a miniature long haired Dachshund......Mitzy is
her name.
Boy, I love that beast.
The good news......They encountered absolutely no mosquitoes, probably due
to the dry season.
Up north, however, Scott is encountering hordes of mosquitoes and biting
flies.
