[pct-l] 2006 PCT DVD Update and Address Request

Greetings fellow PCT’ers! Thanks to all who submitted their photos for 2006 PCT DVD. I have received about 22,000 photos from about 40 people. It has been a joy to sort through all of the photos and get them ready for editing into the DVD. I have now completed the soundtrack and have encoded a version of the soundtrack in surround sound and stereo. I am very satisfied with the results. Now I am moving onto the final and most important step: the final editing. 
   
  Weathercarrot has graciously offered to organize the mailing list for the Class of ’06 for distribution of the final DVD. Thus, please take a moment and send Weathercarrot an email with the physical address you would like the DVD shipped to. Although I sent him the addresses of everyone who sent me photos or music, much like Santa Claus, he has a list and is checking it twice- thus send him your address again to make sure it is correct. Send Weathercarrot your name, trail name (if you have one) and physical address.

  Also, I am wondering how many of you out there, spread across the planet, have a surround sound system to watch the DVD on. Let me know- so I can get an idea of how to encode the final DVD. That would be helpful
