You had to ask.  If I paint  almost a whole super light TI shelter stake, it 
adds .03 ounces to the weight of  one stake.  This includes the paint and 
protective coating I spray on  too.  Two unpainted stakes weigh .44 ounces and two 
painted stakes weigh  .50 ounces.
 
Now I can see why the Extreme and  Ultra Lighters are so against florescent 
painted shelter stakes.  My humble  apologies.
