>From the Jan. 30 The Inyo Register:  ".......on local ski area is shutting 
down for the season just weeks after its  grand opening.  Due to a lack of snow, 
the June Mountain ski area closed  for the season on Sunday.  With a 3 to 18 
inch base on its 10 trails, June  Mountain was unable to provide "a quality 
experience for visitors," a press  release from the ski area states.  The late 
snowfall this season means June  will not re-open this season, even if there is 
a radical improvement in the snow  conditions."
