[pct-l] Starting out late?

We've hosted for ten seasons, and for all ten seasons regardless of the snow pack, there have been hikers starting from Campo in May (and even a few in June). Natural water sources do tend to diminish as the weather warms up, but the caches have been maintained for the most part, even for the sobos in the fall.
