My husband and I are here in Sandpoint, Idaho, visiting one of his
daughters, her husband and college aged granddaughter. We are having such
a heartwarming time of visiting about past antics and other behavior; the
granddaughter's puppy already the size of a small horse; and shopping
today. I wish everyone in our hiking community the warmest and safe
Christmas holidays. If you're traveling by car, as my husband would say,
"keep the rubber side down". Be safe out there. I'd like to thank each of
you for standing by me; for I am well aware I can be too loud, too often.
I'm not a thru hiker nor will I ever be; I'm over weight and don't do the
high mileage of most of you, and yet, most of you accept me. Thank you.
