Yeah, I don't mind (and actually appreciate) the old blazes,  but this is a 
practice that to my knowledge had died out about thirty years or  so ago. Plus, 
there is a $250 dollar fine for cutting live trees - multiplies by  the 200 
or so trees these fools cut, that is a hefty chunk of  change.
