That is right Switchback the old grubby look is out, fashion trends are in.
Everybody wants to look snappy on the trail and have all the latest gear and
bells and whistles
and designer hiking  cloth.
There is a whole new fashion trend sweeping the backpacking industry.

I  SAY  LETS  STAGE  A  BACKPACKING  FASHION  SHOW  AT  THE  KO.

We will need a runway for the models to  display the latest trends in hiking
fashion.
I will model the grass skirt in combat boots....Craig can model the kilt and
loin cloth....Scott
can model the ankle length overcoat.....and you can model the black lingerie
and fuzzy pink
camp slippers.

This could put the KO on the front page of every major newspaper.
We would be the envy of the  AT &  CDT.....This will be the biggest hit at
the KO.
YES,.....I am so exited about this I can't sleep.

PS....we must move forward swiftly with this to get it of and running in
time for the KO.

It is important that when you go out on the trail, you have the latest gear.
You want to look snappy, sharp, and cool out there.  You want other
backpackers to say, "Hey, that Reinhold dude is sharp looking."  "I am going
to have to keep an eye on my hiking partner, so she does not start hanging
around him too much." "I see the Switchback influence in Reinhold.  He is a
real trail dandy."

Yes, it is like joining a high class fraternity to be with Switchback on the
trail.  The latest clothing and the latest gear to be the fashion plates of
the trail.
