Not familiar with the dirty girl ones, but you can also try inserting a grommett in the gaitor and inserting a screw in your shoe. I have seen this work with regular gaitors.

Having heard about these gaiters on this list, I bought a pair and tried them out last weekend and they were GREAT for the first hour until the velcro pulled off the backs of my shoes. Thus far I've tried a silicone glue and then epoxy, and the velcro just won't stick. I tried super glue last night, haven't yet worn the shoes. Has anybody been successful at making the velcro stay on grooved shoe-backs? If so, what did you use?
Janet
