if you check the MODIS Thermal Satellite layer and refresh you'll see 
where the fire is generally located.

It seems to me at this time the trail isn't directly threatened, but....

If the wind is pushing the fire to the east, and it remains in amongst 
the homes in the area, there will be a significant effort put into 
extinguishing it quickly.
