Wow.  That's cold Phil.

One July I went up and we had great weather.  Then, about 3pm a cold front
zoomed in and then a huge downpour that lasted a couple of hours.  By the
time we got down to Outpost Camp it all cleared up and everything was
wonderful again.  It did get cold enough on top to need a couple of layers
but no ice that day.

Had a huge hail and rain downpour the week before on top of  New Army
Pass(12,300 ft) very near by.  Soon stopped raining there too.

Another time, about June 17th.........................................
Great weather on top of Whitney.  Moderately cooling after 1pm.  Beautiful!

Very unpredictable weather from what I've seen.
