[pct-l] Fires in Oregon

With all this really Hot weather, has anyone heard how Oregon is doing
regarding fires near the PCT.  Just had a call from the Monk, he is at Seiad
Valley and will start heading north again tomorrow morning. He is doing well
now and has a ravenous appetite. Scott Williamson caught him at the store in
Seiad Valley.  He also said he had about four snow fields to cross coming
back on the trail at Castella  and is very glad he skipped the Sierra, if he
hikes well into Manning Park then he plans to go back down to Kennedy
Meadows and see how far he can get before he has to return to the Monastery.
