[pct-l] Tahoe access

As of three days ago, 2-3 ft deep snow patches still 
lingered on forested north-facing slopes as low as 8800' in 
Yosemite, with considerable coverage above 10k on all 
aspects. The view from 395 is deceiving, as this is the dry, 
eastern side of the Sierras. However, the fact that much 
snow at all is visible from this side in mid July is still 
telling. And it's visible all the way from Lone Pine to 
Reno, but especially north of Mammoth.
