[pct-l] PCT Questions

We will be starting Section 1 of the  PCT next spring and have several questions I hope someone has some insights on.

1.  Are there any re-supply services (other than the post office)  available for the Southern California section?

2.  What is the general feeling on using 2 personal vehicles for re-supply - I.e. yo-yoing the cars.  

3.  Are there any issues with bears breaking into the cars left at trailheads loaded with food supplies?

4.  How difficult is the hitchhiking to re-supply points?
