Freebird........my friend. Your post brought tears to my eyes. I had gotten
so wound up with thoughts about  the bad apples that I had forgot many of
the great times and super hikers that have become part of our life and
family. We are so proud of the unbelievable journey you have all
accomplished by the time you get here and we try and adopt you all. Some
just don't want to be adopted. Those few hurt our hearts. We worry about you
when you leave and wait to get a card or a call at the finish of your trip.
Then we know you are safe. Thank you for your kind thoughts. They mean so
very much.
