A couple of other things I found at MoonTrail.com that might interest you.
They have super light headlamp coming in at 1.6 ounces with batteries. See
_www.moontrail.com/accessrs/a-hd_lmp/pt_scout.php_
(http://www.moontrail.com/accessrs/a-hd_lmp/pt_scout.php) . It is the Princeton Scout Headlamp. They
also have some outstanding pictures of it. In the narrative it says the LED
bulbs last around 10,000 hours. I did not know that. REI.com has it as item
number 736938. If you did not use the strap, the lamp weighs 1 ounce. You
can just clip it on your clothes, etc.

For you folks in the sub atomic Extreme Ultra Light crowd, I recommend the
Princeton Tec Pilot LED Light. REI.com item number 715190. It comes in at
.28 ounces or around 9 grams.

Also, MoonTrail.com have some emergency tinder to start a fire at
w_ww.moontrail.com/accessrs/a-emerg/fire_starter.html_
(http://www.moontrail.com/accessrs/a-emerg/fire_starter.html) . It is super light at .1 ounce or about 3
grams per unit of starter. I guess it could be a good thing to have in your
emergency kit.

Speaking of fire, they also have the Essential Gear Windmill and Delta
lighters at super light weights. See them too. I like the bright orange colors,
but they are on back order. Again, the pictures they have are outstanding of
the product items.

Your pal, Switchback
