NO, NO, Georgi girl, you are misinterpreting my post.
Trail angels are just that---Angels---that sacrifice and work hard for the
good of the hiking community.  Switchback, the Trail Pirate,
is the exact opposite,  more of a Hell's Angel than a Trail Angel.
He plunders and raids innocent hikers and sacks trail towns for his
amusement and enjoyment.
Consigning him to be a trail angel to do good things for hiking community
would be a form of punishment to him.
Maybe a better punishment would be dragging or hauling his ass along the PCT
behind a team of horses all the way from the Mexican border to the Canadian
border.  Then that filthy torn up rat could crawl into the Canadian Rockies
with the satisfaction of having completed the border to border PCT.

NOW THERE, SWITCHBACK, WHAT DO YOU SAY TO THAT?
