Gesh, I go away for a week, and the flame wars start

As a refresher:

This list is for discussion of all things related to the PCT, planning
for thru-hikes or section-hikes, trail-threats, trail maintenance,
horse riding, llama packing, anything having to do with the PCT.

Occasional commercial posts, within reason, are allowed, as long as
they advertise products that may be of interest to PCT hikers. For
example: an ad for a lightweight tent would be acceptable. An ad for a
OHV would not.

Flaming is specifically prohibited. A flame is a personal attack
against another list member, rather than discussion of their
positions.

To quote Rodney King: "Can't we just all get along?"
