  i regret having to send this message, but it seems that the discourse on this list is continuing to erode.
   
  simply put, THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THE RUDENESS AND VERBAL SPARRING THAT IS REGULARLY TAKING PLACE ON THIS LIST!!!
   
  "cabin fever" is a cop-out.  people can't stop themselves from attacking strangers because they miss the trail?!  c'mon, folks.  this is pathetic, not to mention juvenile.
   
  if you don't have something nice (or at least constructive) to say, then please, please, please DON"T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!!!  
   
  YOUR sniping is spam.  YOUR sniping is tasteless.  YOUR sniping is the very antithesis of what the pct and this community is all about.
