[pct-l] Trail or Glory

I for one really appreciate the time and effort the MtnEd, Greg and
all the others put into giving something back to the PCT community. I
don't expect people to produce tents that are made for the climate
and conditions one would face on the west coast for free, so it has
to be a commercial venture, good on 'em. And I am perfectly OK with
paying for a serious experienced mountain-craft person to teach me
things about self-arrest and such that I simply wouldn't learn
without falling 600ft and breaking several bones. (I'd have totally
signed up if I weren't on the wrong side of the planet, you're not
planning on touring are you?) Squatch made some cool films about the
hike, and I paid for them. Do I feel this has overly commercialised
the trail? Not in the slightest.
I think it's great that these resources are available and that we can
find out about them here on the list.
