i have to say that i have had enough of people singling out pygmy and
"attacking" him and his opinions. im sure that most of you that are
making these comments havent even met him have you? last year i had the
pleasure of talking with him multiple times out on the trail, and he is a
great guy. there were a couple things i questioned, but who doesnt have
any questionable practices in life??? pygmy is not a violent person. he
is a very gentle peacful man. and it seems to me that just because he
stated his opinions on leaving guns at home, people start making half baked
comments and half baked threats.

it is totally inapropriate to say that you are going to "shoot his sorry
a-- if he breaks into your house or car." where do you come up with
the idea that he is a criminal and somebody that would even do such a
thing?? HE'S NOT!

remember, this list is not for threats of ANY kind!! it for discussing
the pacific crest trail. and hiking methods of the pacific crest trail. and
unfortunately the issue of wheather to carry a gun or not to carry a gun
falls into the catagory of methods and practices in hiking the pacific crest
trail. PLEASE leave your personal threats and insults to a persons
charicter at home or to ONLY persononal emails to that person only!

     thats all from me,
i hope that all out there have a great thursday and make the best of the day
ahead of them.

TYVEK.
