[pct-l] Section hiker

Gutsy phoned me from Snoqualmie Pass, and said the terrain is more punishing than usual for the PCT.  Her feet are very sore.
 
In White Pass on Aug. 2 she met Monte, who was out for a hike.  He took a photo of her and sent it to Sly who sent it to me yesterday.  What a big grin--I think she's having too much fun!  In the photo was a small pack, and I remarked to her how small it looked.  Turns out that was Scott Williamson's pack.  He happened to be at White Pass at the same time.  He's flying, covering around 40 mpd, and she expects to meet him in a few days after he flips directions at the border.
 
She enjoyed the shelter/cabin/whatever at Camp Urich, and made a fire in the wood stove.
