[pct-l] Vasque Sundowners

I had a pair of Sundowners a few years back and still think they were the 
most comfortable boot I ever owned. The sole was like gum which made it feel 
like walking on air. ( so nice on the knees!! )  You could wear them out the 
door of the store and straight into the hills with no break-in time. Of 
course the soft soles down fall is it lasts a fat boy like me only 500 miles 
till it was as thin as a bedroom slipper! Boot then must be send back to 
vasque to a re-bottom. Thruhikers may want to buy two sets of boots to keep 
one set in reserve as a resole could be a few weeks. Mail the new boots to 
drop box up ahead.
